Liner

A lining is a layer of fabric sewn onto the back of your drapery or shade. It is typically secured along the sides, while the bottom remains unstitched for a seamless drape.

Adding a lining offers numerous benefits, including enhanced sun protection, improved insulation, and superior light control. It not only provides a polished, luxurious finish but also lends softness to the drapery, effectively blocks sunlight, reduces noise, and insulates against heat and cold. By minimizing energy loss through windows, a well-chosen lining can significantly improve your home's energy efficiency while elevating the overall functionality and aesthetics of your window treatments.

Liner Options Description

Unlined

Unlined curtains are generally not recommended, except in specific cases such as sheer designs or functional blackout curtains.

They are ideal when you don't require complete blackout and prefer a softer, filtered light to pass through the fabric during the day, creating a more natural and airy ambiance.
