A 1% openness factor means the fabric weave is very tight, allowing only 1% of light to pass through. This provides the highest level of glare reduction and daytime privacy among solar shades, while still allowing a soft, filtered view of the outdoors.

1% solar shades offer excellent daytime privacy because the tight weave makes it difficult for outsiders to see in. However, at night, when interior lights are on, silhouettes may be visible from the outside. If complete nighttime privacy is required, we recommend pairing these with secondary curtains.

The twill weave adds a sophisticated, diagonal pattern to the fabric. This texture provides more visual depth and a premium, high-end feel compared to standard flat-weave solar shades, making your windows look elegant and professionally styled.

The fabric-faced cassette headrail is wrapped in the same twill material as the shade itself. This creates a seamless, modern, and high-end aesthetic that hides the roller mechanism while protecting the shade from dust when retracted.

Our cordless system uses a hidden, precision-calibrated spring mechanism. You simply pull down or push up on the bottom rail to set the shade to any desired height. It stays securely in place without the clutter of dangling cords or chains.
