A160 No Drill Cordless Day & Night Honeycomb/Cellular Shades

The Day & Night design combines two distinct fabric types—a light-filtering sheer fabric for daytime privacy and a blackout or privacy fabric for nighttime—into one unified system. A cordless mechanism allows you to operate either layer independently, providing seamless transitions between soft ambient light and total room darkening.

Yes. We utilize a high-precision internal spring mechanism specifically calibrated for the dual-fabric weight of Day & Night shades. The system is paired with industrial-grade, high-friction silicone end-caps that provide the robust, uniform lateral pressure necessary to keep the shade secure without drilling.

The hexagonal cellular structure traps air within each cell, creating an effective thermal barrier. This significantly improves your home's energy efficiency by reducing heat transfer, helping to keep rooms cooler during summer and warmer throughout winter.

No. Our Day & Night cellular shades are 100% cordless. By removing all dangling lift cords or chains, we eliminate the primary entanglement hazards, ensuring these shades are the safest possible choice for households with children and pets.

To ensure a stable, flush inside-mount installation for our dual-fabric tension system, we recommend a minimum window frame depth of 6cm (2.36 inches). This provides sufficient surface area for the tension end-caps to grip securely.

Precision is key for tension-mounted shades. Measure the interior width of your window frame at three points (top, middle, and bottom) and use the narrowest measurement for your order. This ensures the shade fits snugly without over-compressing the tension mechanism. See Our Step-by-Step Measurement Guide.

No. Our tension end-caps are engineered with non-marking, high-friction silicone pads. They provide a firm, secure hold without the need for adhesives or screws, leaving your window frames in pristine, original condition.

Maintenance is simple. Regularly remove surface dust using a vacuum with a soft brush attachment on low suction. For deeper cleaning or localized spots, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to gently dab the fabric. Avoid harsh chemicals and do not submerge the shade in water to protect the internal honeycomb structure.
