A113 5% Offenheit Cordless Square Cassette Solar Shades

An openness factor of 5% means the fabric allows 5% of light to pass through the weave. This provides an ideal balance by significantly reducing heat and harsh glare while maintaining a soft, clear view of the outdoors. It is the perfect choice for living areas or home offices where you want to remain connected to the outside while protecting your interior.

During the day, the 5% openness fabric effectively provides daytime privacy, as the light outside is brighter than inside, making it difficult for outsiders to see in. However, at night, when interior lights are on, silhouettes may be visible from the outside. We recommend layering with curtains if total nighttime privacy is needed.

The Square Cassette offers a clean, minimalist profile that completely conceals the roll mechanism and mounting brackets. Beyond its high-end architectural look, the cassette box serves as a protective dust cover, keeping the fabric pristine and ensuring smooth operation for years.

Yes. Our premium cordless system uses a high-precision, constant-tension spring motor. By removing all dangling lift cords or chains, we eliminate the primary entanglement hazard, making it the safest window treatment choice for homes with children or pets.

To ensure a flush and secure installation of the square cassette, we recommend a minimum window frame depth of 10cm (4 inches). This provides sufficient clearance for the brackets and the cassette profile to sit neatly within your window frame.

For inside mounts, measure the precise width at three points (top, middle, and bottom) and use the narrowest measurement. For height, measure from the top of the frame to the sill. See Our Step-by-Step Measurement Guide.

Yes. Outside mounting is ideal if you have shallow window frames or wish to maximize window coverage. We suggest adding 5–10cm (2–4 inches) to your width and height measurements to ensure the cassette box fully overlaps the window opening for optimal solar protection.

Routine maintenance is simple. Use a vacuum with a soft brush attachment on a low-suction setting to gently remove surface dust. For spot cleaning, dab the area with a slightly damp, clean microfiber cloth. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or heavy scrubbing, which could compromise the fabric's solar-protective coating.
